Jeb Skowler Jr. was the son of a pastor. He grew up in a somewhat Christian home. Jeb's father experienced hardship when he was younger, in turn caused disruption in Jeb Sr. faith. Inadvertently, Jeb Jr. was affected and was exposed to lewd behavior day to day. He later became withdrawn and stayed to himself. He grew up to be successful, but despite his success, he struggled with an old love. One day at a local bar he ran into her, and for the first time he felt secure. Until she broke his heart again. Jeb Sr. related to his pain until he introduced his new love. Sadly, the Skowler’s were disappointed. Sometime later, Jeb and the love of his life adopted a little boy who was abandoned by his mother. Jeb Jr. hid the fact he adopted a little boy until their face-to-face confrontation. It was by happen stance, Jeb Sr. and grandson’s paths crossed. Sr. was pleasantly surprised of his faith. But when the truth came out about his son, Chase, Jeb’s heart was crushed. And once again his heart was broken by someone he loved.
